Alex Frost-Lau
Study Away Adviser
Alex Frost-Lau (he/him) joined 海角社区黑料吃瓜 in April 2025 as the Study Away Adviser. In this role, he provides guidance to students about opportunities to study in other parts of the US and the globe. Alex believes in the power of higher education and is passionate about encouraging students to take advantage of all the opportunities 海角社区黑料吃瓜 offers them.
Prior to joining 海角社区黑料吃瓜, Alex worked at North Dakota State University as the Academic Advisor for all Undecided students. He received a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Luther College and a Master of Science in College Student Personnel from Western Illinois University. Alex鈥檚 own study abroad experiences include a January term in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway to learn about sustainable practices in Scandinavia and a semester in Nagasaki, Japan. In his free time, he likes watching shows and movies, exploring new restaurants, reading, and spending time with his husband, Paul, and their two cats, Blanche and Pippin.
