海角社区黑料吃瓜 makes every effort to maintain strong partnerships with the unions on campus. The Union of 海角社区黑料吃瓜 Student Dining Workers (UGSDW) has the exclusive authority to represent student workers who are members of the bargaining unit in negotiations with the College over terms and conditions of employment, such as wages, hours, and terms and conditions of work.
Student workers are defined as all degree-seeking individuals who are, simultaneously (1) enrolled as undergraduate students, full-time or part-time, at 海角社区黑料吃瓜 and (2) employed by 海角社区黑料吃瓜 as non-exempt, hourly employees.
The term 鈥渟tudent workers鈥 does not include (1) students whose sole 鈥渆mployment鈥 relationship with 海角社区黑料吃瓜 is an internship, research fellowship, Mentored Advanced Project, or an equivalent relationship, such as externally grant-funded positions, (2) students who were formerly, but are no longer, enrolled as undergraduate students at 海角社区黑料吃瓜, or (3) students who were formerly, but are no longer, non-exempt hourly employees of 海角社区黑料吃瓜.
